Malaysia 0-1 Bahrain

Jan 21, 2024

malaysia 0-1 bahrain

Kim Pan Gon has apologised to Harimau Malaya's supporters, following their latest defeat at the Asian Games.

The national head coach says he is taking full responsibility for the results, which confirmed the team's exit from the group stage.

They were beaten 1-nil by Bahrain last night to remain at the bottom of Group E.

Their last match will be on Thursday, against South Korea, who drew 2-all with Jordan.

--

Crystal Palace are looking at potential replacements for under-fire boss Roy Hodgson, following their 5-nil Premier League defeat to Arsenal.

The result means that Palace have only claimed one win in 12 matches.

--

Meanwhile, Liverpool have a chance to go 5 points clear at the top of the Premier League table, when they travel to Bournemouth tonight.

However, they're still without their senior left-backs, Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas, while right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold is also out injured.

Dominik Szoboszlai is also an injury doubt for the game.
