Tuchel Hits England Milestone

Thomas Tuchel has recorded his second victory as England head coach as the Three Lions defeated Latvia 3-0 in their World Cup qualifier this morning.

It comes on the back of their qualifying win over Albania over the weekend.

This now makes Tuchel the first England men’s manager since Fabio Capello in 2008 to win his first two competitive games.

This, amid speculation that Harry Kane is also considering joining The Reds…if he opts to leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season.

Chen Tang Jie and Toh Ee Wei may be split up, if the mixed-doubles shuttler’s performance doesn’t improve.

Their coach says the pair has been struggling with internal problems on the court, stemming from their high expectations of each other.

He adds that the Tang Jie and Ee Wei have been given until the upcoming Sudirman Cup to sort out their issues, failing which they could be paired with new partners.

Novak Djokovic says chasing the world number one ranking is no longer his main objective…adding that he’s more focused on winning major tournaments as he reaches the end of his illustrious tennis career.

The 37-year-old is currently fifth in the ATP standings…having previously spent more than 400 weeks at number one.
