Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly made a decision about his future.

The BBC, citing Saudi sources, say the 40-year-old has agreed to a two-year extension to his current contract with Al Nassr, which expires at the end of the month.

It comes despite Ronaldo’s earlier social media post which had hinted at a possible exit.

Borussia Dortmund are through to the last-16 of the Club World Cup, after a narrow 1-0 victory over South Korea’s Ulsan.

The win sends the Bundesliga side through as Group F winners…ahead of Fluminense, who had a goalless draw with Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa.

Elsewhere at the tournament… Kylian Mbappe is back in training with Real Madrid ahead of tomorrow’s final group game against RB Salzburg.

The striker had to be admitted into hospital last week with severe gastroenteritis.

Former England boss Gareth Southgate has received his knighthood, in honour of his services to football.

He is only the seventh football manager to be knighted…joining the likes of Liverpool’s Sir Kenny Dalglish and Man United’s Sir Alex Ferguson.

And, Malaysian mixed doubles pair Rachel Arnold and C. Amee-shenraj…as well as the women’s doubles pairing of Noor Ainaa Ampandi and Yee Xin Ying have made their respective finals at the Asian Doubles Squash Championships.
