CWC: Real Avoid Man City In Last-16

Erling Haaland scored his 300th career goal, as Man City continued their Club World Cup campaign 

City defeated Juventus 5-2 this morning in their final group game, to top Group G, ahead of Juve.  

Meanwhile al Ain finished in third place, with a 2-1 win over Wydad Cassablanca. 

In Group H, Real Madrid defeated Salzburg 3-0 to top their group, and book a last-16 encounter against Juve. 

Al-Ain had a 2-0 win over Pachuca, meaning they will face City in the round of 16.

Liverpool attacker Darwin Nunez has reportedly agreed terms with Napoli, ahead of his proposed move to the Serie A champions.  

Both clubs are now negotiating a transfer fee, with Liverpool said to be demanding £55 million.  

Meanwhile, Liverpool have completed the signing of Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez in a £40 million deal.

Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a 2-year extension at al-Nassr, which will keep him at the Saudi club until he's 42. 

The extension comes a month after he hinted that he wanted to leave after a trophyless season.
