Liverpool Renews Real Rivalry
Nov 27, 2024

Liverpool and Real Madrid will renew their Champions League rivalry, when they face each other at Anfield tomorrow morning.
The hosts are currently unbeaten in 14 matches in all competitions, which includes winning all four of their previous Champions League games.
They are going up against a Real side that have only won two of their 4 games in the competition.
The two European giants last faced each other in the 2022/23 season, with Real beating Liverpool 6-2 on aggregate in the last-16.
Trent Alexander-Arnold could make a return to Liverpool's squad following his hamstring injury, but boss Arne Slot says he may only come on as a sub.
--
Man City's Nathan Ake is confident the team can bounce back from their current slump, which has seen them go winless in 6 matches.
He said this after their 3-3 Champions League draw against Feyenoord this morning, just days ahead of their Premier League clash against Liverpool.
--
Former Man United interim boss Ruud van Nistelrooy could be close to returning to the Premier League.
According to reports, he recently held talks with Leicester, who recently sacked Steve Cooper.
--
And Gareth Southgate has hinted that he may step away from football entirely.
He's still jobless after resigning as Enland manager at the end of Euro 2024.
