Azeem or Shereen? - Decision On Tuesday

The Malaysian Athletics Federation is due to make an announcement on Tuesday, about whether they’re picking Azeem Fahmi or Shereen Vallabouy for the Olympic wildcard.
The MAF says its still studying the matter, as it wants to make the best decision.
Both Azeem and Shereen missed out on qualifying for the Paris Games on merit…and must now rely on the single wildcard slot, which has been allocated either for the 100m or 800m events.

The Malaysian Football League has agreed to reduce the penalties imposed on Selangor FC for missing last month’s Charity Shield tie.
As a result…the three-point deduction has been suspended…the order for Selangor’s next match against JDT to be played behind closed doors has been rescinded…while the 100 thousand ringgit fine has been reduced to sixty thousand.
The punishment was initially imposed after Selangor FC skipped the Charity Shield game for security reasons, following Faisal Halim’s acid attack.

Phil Foden has returned to the England camp, after taking time off to return to the UK for the birth of his child.
The Man City midfielder is expected to take part in today’s training session, and should be in the squad to face Slovakia in the Euro 2024 last-16 on Monday.

Speaking of the Euros… the billionaire former prime minister of Georgia has pledged an over 10 million dollar reward for the national team, after they famously defeated Portugal to qualify for the knockout round.
The team also stand to make a further 10 million dollar reward, if they can beat Spain in the last-16.
