More SuperSeries Heartbreak for Aaron-Wooi Yik

Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik have vowed to make amends after their heartbreaking defeat at the China badminton Open.  

This, after the Malaysian men's doubles pair were beaten by their Indonesian opponents in last night's final.  

It was their 6th consecutive defeat in the final of a Super 1000 tournament. 

Aaron-Wooi Yik say they now recover and begin preparations for the World Championships in Paris, France next month. 

They will be gunning for a second world title, having previously won it in 2022.

Liverpool's Luis Diaz has moved closer to joining Bayern Munich. 

This, after the EPL champions reportedly accepted Bayern's latest bid of £65 million including add-ons.  

It's believed that the move will pave the way for Liverpool to bid for Newcastle striker Alexander Isak.  

Previous reports claim that Liverpool are willing to break the British transfer record for the Swedish attacker, having already broken the record with their signing of Florian Wirtz.

Marcus Rashford has made his debut for Barcelona in their 3-1 friendly win over Vissel Kobe in Japan.  

Rashford recently joined Barca on a season-long loan from Man United.
