AC Milan eye Bailly

Jul 17, 2019

AC Milan are reportedly considering a move for Manchester United centre-back Eric Bailly.

Milan's new head coach Marco Giampaolo has made signing in a new central defender his top priority, after the Italian club conceded 36 goals last season.

Milan were initially targeting Liverpool's veteran defender Dejan Lovren, but were said to have been put off by the Reds's high asking price.

They believe that Bailly will be a cheaper option.

Real Madrid may reportedly allow Gareth Bale to leave on a free transfer.

The Spanish club are said to be desperate to get Bale off their wage bill, as he currently earns a whopping 600 thousand pounds a week there.

The high wages are one of the reasons why Real are struggling to find a buyer for the Welshman.

Earlier, Bale's agent rubbished reports linking him with a return to Tottenham, calling the rumour 'fabricated nonsense'.

The Williams F1 team insist that it's still too soon to discuss possible drivers for next year.

This comes amid reports that Williams are looking to replace Robert Kubica, who has been struggling to match the pace of his teammate George Russell.

Kubica made his F1 comeback this year, 8 years after he nearly lost his arm in a rallying accident.
