Aguero does it again!

Sergio Aguero scored a hat trick as Man City thrashed Chelsea 6-nil in their Premier League clash at the Etihad Stadium.

Raheem Sterling scored a brace while Ilkay Gundongan also found the back of the net, to help fire City to the top of the standings - above Liverpool on goal difference.

This is a record-equalling 11th Premier League hattrick for Aguero, drawing him level with Alan Shearer.

As for Chelsea, this was their worst league defeat since April 1991.

Elsewhere, Tottenham took out Leicester 3-1 to ensure they remain in contention in the race for the EPL title.

Davinson Sanchez, Christian Eriksen and Song Heung Min all scored a goal each to ensure Spurs  remain third in the table - five points behind leaders City.

Over in the Serie A:

Juventus defeated Sassuolo 3-nil, thanks to goals from Sami Khedira, Cristiano Ronaldo and Emre Can.

It extends Juve's lead at the top of the standings to 11 points.
