Alexis Sanchez could have joined Real Madrid last month.
According to Spanish media, Arsenal offered Sanchez to Real, and Real president Florentino Perez was keen on signing him.
However, coach Zinedine Zidane rejected the move, because he believed that Sanchez's arrival would unsettle his attacking lineup.
Instead, Sanchez joined Man United, in a swap deal with Henrikh Mikhitaryan.
