Azizulhasni Awang is the world no.1!

National track cyclist Azizulhasni Awang says he has received a major confidence boost ahead of this year's Olympics, after he rose to no.1 in the International Cycling Union's Individual Sprint world rankings. 

He also called on Malaysians to pray for his success at the Tokyo Games, which start in July. 

In the latest UCI ranking, Azizul took the top spot ahead of Japan's Tomohiro Fukaya and New Zealander Sam Webster.

Serena remains on course for Grand Slam record

Serena Williams remains in the running to claim a 24th Grand Slam title, after posting an easy in in the second round of ther Australian Open. 

Last year's finalist Garbine Muguruza also progressed. 

Novak Djokovic, Dominic Thiem and Diego Schwarzman Arsenal progressed to the 3rd round of the men's singles.

No Arsenal return for Overmars

Arsenal have reportedly ruled out hiring former player Marc Overmars, who is expected to step down as Ajax's director of football. 

The Gunners have no vacancies in that position, as another former player, Edu, currently fills that role at the Emirates stadium
