7th seed Alize Cornet has reached the quarterfinals of the Monterrey tennis Open in Mexico, after defeating her Croatian opponent in round 2.
Cornet will next meet 4th seed Carla Suarez Navarro in the last 8.
Over at the Charleston Open , Caroline Wozniacki beat Anastasia Rodionova in straight sets to also book her spot in the quarterfinals.
