Datuk Lee Chong Wei will feature in Madame Tussauds Hong Kong

Datuk Lee Chong Wei has been immortalised as a wax figure at the Madame Tussauds museum in Hong Kong. 

The national shuttler is the first Malaysian athlete to be featured at the iconic museum, and his waxwork will be unveiled by June this year. 

He joins other sporting greats like Muhamad Ali, Usain Bolt, Ronaldinho and David Beckham whose figures are on display at Madame Tussauds. 

Men's doubles pair Goh V Shem and Tan Wee Kiong advance to round 2

The Malaysian men's doubles pairs have started strong at the Indonesian badminton Masters.

Three pairs, including Goh V Shem and Tan Wee Kiong, have advanced to round 2. 

HW, the women's doubles didn't do so well, as Vivian Hoo and Yap Cheng Wen lost to the top seeds in straight sets. 

Lee Zii Jia' s campaign in Indonesia Badminton Masters ends​

Promising national shuttler Lee Zii Jia's campaign at the Indonesia badminton Masters has come to an abrupt end. 

In his first round match, Zii Jia started off strong, winning the first set against China's Huang Yu Xiang 21-17.

However, he couldn't maintain his momentum, losing the next two sets in tightly fought battles. 

Meanwhile, all 4 of our men's doubles pairs advanced to round 2, including Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik.
