Europa League previews and more

Oct 24, 2019

Man United will have a nearly fully-fit squad for their Europa League trip to Partizan Belgrade tomorrow.

Paul Pogba is the only major injury absentee, with the midfielder also expected to miss this weekend's Premiership match against Norwich.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also says his players are prepared for any eventuality, amid concerns about possible racist behaviour by the home fans.

The Serbian club only recently completed a two-game stadium ban for racist behaviour by its supporters.

It seems Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will not feature for Arsenal against Vitoria SC, when the two sides meet in the Europa League group stage tomorrow morning.

The Gunners' star striker apparently sat out training yesterday, but not through injury, and is instead being rested ahead of this weekend's EPL clash with Crystal Palace.

David Luiz also missed training for the same reason, with Arsenal choosing to rest the pair for the big game.

Alexandre Lacazette is now likely to start, giving him a chance to pick up his fitness after returning from injury.

Valentino Rossi says he's determined to bounce back from his run of poor results, as he prepares to celebrate his 400th career race start at this weekend's Autralian MotoGP.

The nine-time world champion is well aware that the sport has changed, amid questions about his own future.

While Rossi's current Monster Yamaha contract expires at the end of 2020, the Italian admits he will assess his results next season, before making a call on his future.
