Inter thrash Shakhtar to make the Europa League final

Inter Milan are through to the Europa League final after a convincing 5-0 win over Shakhtar Donetsk.
It was the biggest margin of victory ever in a single UEFA Cup or Europa League semi-final game.

Among the goalscorers was Romelu Lukaku, who netted twice this morning.
The Belgian has now scored in 10 straight games in the tournament, taking his tally to 33 for the season in all competitions.

Inter - who are seeking their first trophy since 2011- will take on Sevilla in this Saturday's final.
Setien out at Barca
Barcelona are set to appoint a new manager in the coming days.
This, after the Catalan side confirmed the sacking of Quique Setien after a disappointing season that saw Barca surrender the La Liga title to Real Madrid, and their humiliating 8-2 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Netherlands coach Ronald Koeman is now the overwhelming favourite to replace Setien.
Silva returns to Spain
Former Man City playmaker David Silva has signed for Real Sociedad, having recently left City after 10 years at the club.

Silva had earlier been in talks over a move to Lazio, but opted for a return to Spain in the end.

World number 2 Simona Halep is the latest big name to pull out of this month's US tennis Open, citing concerns about the Covid-19 pandemic.
She is the 6th player in the women's top 10 to withdraw from the event, including defending champion Bianca Andreescu and world number one Ashleigh Barty.
