Lewis Hamilton faces backlash after questioning Indian F1 Grand Prix

Nov 15, 2018

F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton has come under fire from Indian F1 fans, following his comments about the Indian GP.

In a recent interview, Hamilton said he felt conflicted whenever he went to India, as he was driving around a massive, beautiful track, but was surrounded by so much poverty.

However, this did not sit well with Indian F1 fans, who slammed him on social media.

The Buddh International Circuit hosted the Indian Grand Prix from 2011-2013, before it was taken off the F1 calendar for tax-related issues.

Bolt had earlier been on trial with Australian club Central Coast Mariners, but they couldn't agree on a deal.

Gary Cahill given green light to leave Chelsea

Chelsea are reportedly prepared to let veteran defender Gary Cahill leave Stamford Bridge in January.

The 32-year-old Blues captain's future is uncertain, after only making one substitute appearance in the Premier League this season.

According to one UK tabloid, boss Maurizio Sarri has no problem allowing Cahill to leave on loan in January, while waiting for his contract to expire at the end of the season.

Man United, West Ham, Southampton and Watford were linked with Cahill over the past six months.
