Lewis Hamilton secures fifth F1 world title !

Oct 29, 2018

Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton has won his fifth F1 world title !

The Brit finished fourth in this morning's Mexican F1 GP, but it was enough for him to wrap up this season's title race.

Hamilton headed into the race needing a seventh-place finish to take home the title even if closest points rival Sebastian Vettel won the race.

However, the Ferrrari man could only manage a second-place finish behind race champion Max Verstappen of Red Bull.

Hamilton is now just two titles behind all time record holder Michael Shumacher.
