Man United boss send striker on holiday with wife

Man United captain Wayne Rooney is set for a holiday in Dubai with his wife, to continue recovery from a knee injury in a warmer climate.
Manager Louis van Gaal reportedly granted Rooney permission to do so, after it was revealed the striker does not require surgery on his right knee.
It was originally feared Rooney could miss England's Euro 2016 campaign, but now it's hoped he can return to action later this month.
