Rafa Nadal lived up to his billing as the King of Clay, winning the French tennis Open title with a dominant straight sets victory over world number one Novak Djokovic.
The Spaniard says this was one of his best performances in recent years.
“For two sets and a half I played great. It is impossible to have this score against him without playing great. I played at my highest level when I needed to”

This is a record-extending 13th victory for Nadal at Roland Garros, and also equals Roger Federer’s record of 20 career Grand Slam titles.
Hamilton draws level with Schumi
Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton has won the Eifel F1 GP ahead of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo in the Renault.
It was Hamilton’s 91st career victory, equalling the all-time record set by the great Michael Schumacher.
