New race track in Kedah?

KBS announces new race track project in Kedah

Youth and Sports Minister Syed Saddiq Abdul Rahman has confirmed that a new public race track will be built in Kedah.

He says his Ministry will work with the Kedah state government to set the plan in motion.

Plans for the track had been discussed in the past, but the project was scrapped as it was too expensive.

Pandelela completes Bachelor's degree

After five years of balancing between being a national athlete and a university student, Pandelela Rinong has obtained her degree in sports science.

The 25-year-old says this a huge achievement for her, as she had to cope with the pressures of being a national diver.

Now that she can fully focus on her sporting career, Pandelela hopes to improve her form from here on out.

Choong Hann wants to get used to the job, before making decisions

BAM's new coaching director Wong Choong Hann says it's too early for him to discuss what new policies he'll be bringing to the table.

The former world No. 1's duties are only due to begin on January 1st, and he'd like to get used to the job before making any decisions.

However, Choong Hann says he plans to focus on our men's singles and men's doubles shuttlers, based on their performances at recent major tournaments.
