Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has called for decisive action to be taken against racist abuse in football.

This is after he was allegedly subjected to monkey chants by Tottenham supporters, in the Blues's 2-nil win this morning.

The fans were reportedly upset over Rudiger's role in the red card that was handed to Spurs striker Son Heung Min.

3 stadium announcements were made to urge fans to stop the racist behaviour...

It's believed this is the first time it had to be done in a Premier League game.

Meanwhile, Tottenham have launched a full investigation into the alleged racist abuse that was hurled at Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger in this morning's 2-nil defeat to The Blues.

Spurs also assured that it will take the strongest possible action against those involved.

It looks like Nemanja Matic's days at Man United are numbered.

The midfielder's contract is due to expire in 2021 and latest reports say the Red Devils have decided NOT to offer him a new deal.

This raises the likelihood of Matic leaving United in next month's transfer window.

AC Milan, Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid are said to be keen on signing him, either on loan or in a permanent deal.

The FIA president says he is still keen on expanding the Formula 1 grid to 12 teams.

However, Datuk Seri Jean Todt insists it will only happen if prospective new entrants can prove to the FIA and F1's owner Liberty Media, that they are financially vialble in the long run.

Several parties are reported to be keen on joining F1 in 2021, including a team linked to Formula 2 outfit Campos Racing.
