Raheem Sterling stuns Schalke with 90th-minute winner

Feb 21, 2019

Raheem Sterling scored a last gasp winner as Manchester City made a comeback to beat Schalke 3-2 in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.

Sergio Aguero and Leroy Sane also found the back of the net.

However, City will go into the second leg without Nicolas Otamendi, who was sent off after being booked for a handball, and a foul on the German side.

Schalke will travel to the Etihad for the return leg on March 13th.

Cristiano Ronaldo's hopes for sixth Champions League title dwindle

Cristiano Ronaldo's return to Spain has ended in defeat, as Juventus lost 2-nil to Atletico Madrid in their Champions League first leg last-16 clash.

The former Real Madrid striker failed to find a way past an impressive Atletico, as his powerful 35-yard free-kick was stopped by Jan Oblak.

Two second half goals from Atletico's Jose Gimenez and Diego Godin secured an advantage for Diego Simeone's side, ahead of the return leg in Turin on March 13th.
