Man City have kept their hopes of securing the "quadruple" alive, after they made the 5th round of the FA Cup.
City defeated Cardiff 2-nil thanks to goals from Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling.
Meanwhile, Chelsea also eased into the fifth round with a 3-nil win over Newcastle at Stamford Bridge.
Michy Batshuayi, scored a first-half brace, before Marcos Alonso completed the scoring for the Blues.
