Roy Keane: England needs a reality check

Roy Keane has told English fans to get a 'reality check', after the Three Lions were beaten 2-1 by Croatia in this morning's World Cup semi.

The Ireland assistant boss says England were nowhere near good enough to reach a final, let alone win it. 

But that didn't stop people from boasting that that they would win it. adding they should have taken things one game at a time.  

This is a sentiment shared by Croatia's Luka Modric.

He slammed the English media for writing off his team's chances before the match.. 

"Especially their journalists, their pundits..the said we are tired (after the last-16 and quarterfinals) but all of this gave us eagerness to prove them wrong"

Croatia will now take on France in the final, while England face Belgium in the 3rd-place playoff.
