Serena Williams felt like a superhero at Roland Garros

Serena Williams says the black catsuit she wore at the first round of the French Open was much more than a fashion statement.

The former tennis World Number One says there are health benefits, as it helps her deal with blood clots. 

Williams, who gave birth last year, says she also wants to motivate mothers who have had a tough recovery from pregnancy.

She also joked that the suit made her feel like a warrior in the Marvel superhero movie Black Panther.
