Malaysian shuttler, Tan Chun Seang is through to the quaterfinals of the Chinese Taipei Masters men's singles event, after beating his opponent from the host nation.
Meanwhile, Liew Daren also made the cut to the last 8 after taking out his opponent from Thailand.
Women's doubles pair, Chow Mei Kuan/Lee Meng Yean also reached the quarterfinals, but Ho Yen Mei failed to get past her 2nd round hurdle
