Tokyo 2020 reveal Olympic torch

Organisers of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics have unveiled the design of their Olympic torch.

It features five cylinders for the flame, each representing a petal of the much-beloved and iconic Cherry Blossom.

The reveal comes with just one year to go till the Olympic torch relay touches down in Japan.

Singapore edge Malaysia to reach Airmarine Cup final

Harimau Malaya have missed out on a spot in the inaugural Airmarine Cup final, after a 1-nil defeat to Singapore in Bukit Jalil last night.

The national squad will now play Afghanistan in the 3rd and 4th placing match on Saturday.

Singapore, meanwhile, will be up against Oman, who thrashed Afghanistan 5-nil to reach the final of the four-nation tournament.

Cheong Jun Hoong out for season with new wrist injury

National diver Cheong Jun Hoong has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a wrist injury.

She picked up the problem due to the pressure she exerted on her hand while on crutches, following an earlier knee operation.
