Tributes pour in for late badminton coach Izuan Ibrahim

Badminton World no. 1 Kento Momota has paid tribute to his former coach, Izuan Ibrahim, who passed away last night.
Motoma says Izuan played an instrumental role in nurturing his talent, during his junior days.
The Msian coach died of intra-cranial bleeding last night, at the age of just 35.
His death came just over a week before he was due to start work as a development coach with the Badminton Association of Malaysia.
Meanwhile, Youth and Sports Minister Syed Saddiq says Izuan's passing is a huge loss to the country's badminton scene.

Patrick Vieira says he was never in the running to take charge of Arsenal.
The former Gunners captain was one of the early favourites to get the Arsenal job after Unai Emery was sacked.
But Vieira, who is currently in charge of French club Nice says he was never approached by the Gunners at any point.
The London club instead appointed Man City assistant boss Mikel Arteta, who will make his managerial debut against Bournemouth on Boxing Day.

Former tennis World No. 1 Caroline Wozniaki will partner with Serena Williams for the 1st time, in the doubles event at the upcoming Auckland Open in New Zealand.
It's part of Wozniaki's preparations for the Australian Open, her last tournament before she retires.
Wozniaki recently accounced that she's calling time on her career, after being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis.
