Ukraine stun Spain in the Nations League

Spain have suffered their first defeat in nearly two years, falling to a 1-0 loss to Ukraine in the Nations League.
The former World Cup winners had most of the possession but wasted numerous chances, with the Ukrainians netting the winner with their only shot on target.

Spain’s last defeat was all the way back in November 2018, when they went down 2-1 to Croatia.
In other selected results, Germany were held to a 3-all draw by Switzerland…with Chelsea duo Kai Havertz and Timo Werner both getting on the scoresheet for the Germans.

Ronaldo tests positive
Cristiano Ronaldo has tested positive for Covid-19 while on international duty with Portugal.
The Juventus star is the highest-profile footballer to date to get infected with the coronavirus.
He is now under quarantine and will miss at least the next three matches for club and country.

However, a quick recovery could see Ronaldo back in training before Juve’s Champions League game against Barcelona on the 29th.
BAM playing it safe
The Badminton Association of Malaysia says its prepared to tighten its SOP’s even further to protect players and coaches amid the spike in Covid-19 cases here.
The national camp is already under self-imposed isolation at the BAM Academy, and is now awaiting instructions on whether further precautionary steps are needed.
