Willian set to complete Arsenal move

Aug 11, 2020

Brazilian winger Willian is expected to complete his move to Arsenal this week, after he reportedly passed his medical.

This, after he announced his departure from Chelsea at the weekend.

It's believed that Willian will sign a three-year deal to join the Gunners on a free transfer, and will earn slightly less than his 120 thousand pounds-a-week salary at Stamford Bridge.

Willian will be Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta’s first signing of the summer transfer window.

Former Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge says he's hoping to return to the EPL next season.

He told SkySports he's also open to playing in other leagues, but feels he has unfinished business in the Premiership.

The 31 year old is now a free agent, after leaving Turkish club Trabsonsport in March, and serving a 4-month ban for breaching betting rules.

F1 also hopes to run a full 22-race season next year, said CEO Chase Carry's magnificent moustache

The COVID-19 outbreak reportedly had a serious impact on Formula 1's finances this year, due to a sharp drop in broadcasting and race fees.

According to the UK's Financial Times, F1's revenue dropped to just 24 million dollars in the last quarter, compared to over 620 million dollars a year ago.

It also posted a quarterly loss of 136 million dollars.
