Liverpool's Mario Balotelli will return for training this weekend as his exit from Anfield is still in limbo. 

The Reds had hoped that Balotelli's agent would have found a suitable destination for him, but links to the Chinese Super League and Turkey have failed to materialise.

This means Balotelli will join new signings Sadio Mane and Joel Matip, along with those who are not on international duty, in reporting for training.

Chelsea have confirmed the exits of three players, namely Radamel Falcao, Alexandre Pato and Marco Amelia.

Meanwhile, Chelsea winger Pedro has been assigned a new shirt number,  swapping the number 17 he wore last season, with the number 11
