World Cup Qualifiers: North Macedonia shock Germany

Four-time winners Germany have suffered a huge upset in the World Cup qualifiers, going down 2-1 at home to North Macedonia.
This is the first defeat for Germany and the first goals they’ve conceded this campaign.

It also ends their 35-game unbeaten run in World Cup qualifying that stretches all the way back to 2001.
Elsewhere, Harry Maguire scored a late winner to help England to a 2-1 in over Poland.
Holders France edged Bosnia-Herzegovina 1-0.
Spain overcame Kosovo 3-1.
While Italy defeated Lithuania 2-0.

Barcelona have reportedly opened talks to sign Sergio Aguero…who’ll be leaving Man City at the end of the season.
This is despite manager Ronald Koeman’s apparent reluctance to bring in the Argentina international.

UEFA has approved a couple of rule changes ahead of this summer’s delayed Euro 2020.
It is now allowing teams to use up to five substitutes per match, to ease the workload on players amid a compressed season due to Covid-19.
The governing body has also lifted the 30 percent capacity limit on venues…meaning host cities can now use their own discretion to allow more fans into stadiums.
