Middlesbrough continue their FA Cup giant-killing run

Middlesbrough pulled off another major upset in the FA Cup, beating Tottenham 1-0 after extra-time in the fifth round this morning.
This is the Championship side’s second victory over Premier League opponents, having also knocked out Man United in the last round.
The defeat also means that Tottenham’s 14-year wait for a trophy continues.
Meanwhile, Man City defeated Peterborough 2-0.
While Crystal Palace edged past Stoke 2-1.

PSG have reportedly made another attempt to hold on to Kylian Mbappe.
Sources say the French giants have offered their star striker a new contract worth 50 million euros per year to try and convince him to remain in Paris.
Mbappe’s current deal expires in the summer…with reports linking him with a move to Real Madrid at the end of the season.

The athletics world governing body has banned Russian athletes and officials from all international events for the foreseeable future.
It’s the latest repercussion in the world of sports, to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
The tennis and motorsports governing bodies, however, say Russian participants can still compete as neutrals without using the Russian flag or anthem.

The Malaysian Gymnastics Federation says its still waiting for official notification from Farah Ann Abdul Hadi, amid speculation the Olympian has quit the national team.
It adds that until it hears from Farah Ann, she will remain on the list of competitors for the upcoming SEA Games in Vietnam.
