Reds To Immortalize Jota's Shirt Number

Liverpool have announced plans to immortalise the number 20 worn by the late Diogo Jota.
The club have not elaborated on their exact plans, but it comes amid growing calls from Reds supporters to retire his number 20 jersey.
Jota was killed alongside his brother in a car crash in Spain yesterday, reportedly while making his way back to Liverpool for pre-season training.
Meanwhile, tributes continue to pour in for the 28-year-old, including from Reds boss Arne Slot, captain Virgil Van Dijk and Jurgen Klopp, the former manager who first brought Jota to Anfield back in 2020.
