Inter Pip Barcelona To UCL Final Spot

Inter Milan have made the Champions League final after an epic 4-3 victory over Barcelona in the second leg of their semi this morning.

The Italian club struck a crucial equalizer just moments before the final whistle to take the game into extra-time, where Davide Frattesi netted the match winner to seal a 7-6 victory on aggregate.

The result sends Inter to their second Champions League final in three seasons, while Barca missed out on what would have been their first final in 10 years.

Real Madrid are reportedly trying to negotiate an early release for Liverpool’s Trent Alexander Arnold, to sign him in time for the Club World Cup.

The summer tournament takes place in mid-June…about two weeks before defender’s contract with the Reds expires.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s teenaged son has been called up to the Portugal Under-15 squad for the first time.

The 14-year-old Ronaldo Jr will feature for is country in a youth tournament in Croatia next week.

And, Malaysian singles ace Lee Zii Jia has dropped one spot to 10^th in the latest BWF world rankings, after being sidelined due to injury.

Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik also dropped one place to fifth in the men’s doubles rankings…while compatriots Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin remained in second place.
