The Youth and Sports Ministry is stepping up efforts towards increasing Malaysia's medal tally in future Olympic events.
As such, it'll focus on developing new sports such as skateboarding, climbing, and surfing.
This, in light of the recent results of the national squad at the Paris Olympic Games.
The ministry adds that it'll hold a post-mortem session next week regarding the Games.
The findings will then be used to develop strategies for the 2028 Los Angeles edition.
