Palace Stun Liverpool In The Community Shield

Crystal Palace have entered the record books, as the first team in 50 years to win the Community Shield on their debut.

This, as the FA Cup winners defeated EPL champions Liverpool 3-2 on penalties, after the match finished 2-2 at the end of regulation time.

Alexis MacAllister and Harvey Elliot had their spot kicks saved by the Palace keeper, while Mo Salah sent his shot over the bar.

Man City’s Jack Grealish has reportedly agreed to join Everton on loan, although both clubs have yet to sort out the financial details of the move.

The winger is eyeing more first team football in the hopes of making the England team for next year’s World Cup.
