Rafa Benitez is reportedly close to being appointed as Everton’s new manager.
Both parties have already undergone three rounds of negotiations, with the Spaniard now the overwhelming favourite for the job.
If he is appointed, Benitez will become the first man to manage both Merseyside clubs…having also led Liverpool for six years.

The long-serving captain’s current contract expires at the end of the month, with both parties unable to agree on an extension.
Man United, Man City, PSG and Ramos’ former club Sevilla are all reportedly in the running for his services.
