Liverpool Edging Closer To Ekitike Deal

Liverpool are inching closer to a deal to sign Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike.
Insiders say both clubs are now in advanced negotiations, with the Reds prepared to pay more than 70 million pounds for the Frenchman.
Its widely expected that the deal can be completed by this weekend.

In a related development…Newcastle, who were earlier priced out of a move for Ekitike, are now turning their attention to Brentford forward Yoane Wissa.
The 28-year-old is also a target for Tottenham and Nottingham Forest.

UK sources say Andre Onana’s hamstring injury is not as serious as initially feared, with the Man United keeper now expected back in action by the start of August.
Earlier reports had said Onana was facing a lengthy-spell on the sidelines, and was likely to miss their EPL season opener against Arsenal.
Meanwhile, United have tabled an offer of 65 million pounds plus a further 5 million in add-ons for Bryan Mbeumo…matching Brentford’s asking price for the striker.

Extreme skydiving pioneer Felix Baumgartner has died at the age of 56 after a paragliding accident in Italy.
He’s best known for his record-breaking skydive from the edge of space back in 2012, jumping from 38 kilometers above earth and breaking the sound barrier.
