Who's through to the Japan Open semis?

So far, three of our reps have reached the semifinals of the Japan badminton Open.  

Pearly Tan-M.Thinaah booked their spot after beating their Korean opponents and will face the No.2 seeds tomorrow.  

Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei advanced to the mixed doubles semis, while Ong Yew Sin-Teo Ee Yi are in the last-four of the men's doubles.  

However, Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Lai, and Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun crashed out

Liverpool have reportedly held preliminary talks with Real Madrid on a possible move for Rodrygo. 

The 24-year-old Brazilian is a possible replacement for Luis Diaz, who could leave Anfield this summer.  

Meanwhile, Eintracht Frankfurt's Hugo Ekitike has submitted an official transfer request, in order to push through a move to Liverpool.  

The EPL champions are turning their attention to the France under-21 attacker after failing to sign Newcastle's Alexander Isak.

Former Man United boss Erik ten Hag has ruled out bringing Antony to his new club Bayer Leverkusen in the current transfer window.  

Earlier reports Leverkusen were considering signing the Brazilian winger, who played for Ten Hag at United and Ajax.
