Arif Junaidi's Pre-World Championship Setback

Arif Junaidi's preparations for the badminton World Championships have suffered a setback. 

Our national doubles coach confirmed that Arif picked up an illness that forced him and his men's doubles partner Yap Roy King to miss training yesterday.  

The coach hopes that he can return to full fitness quickly, ahead of the World Championships in Paris next week.

A Liverpool supporter has been banned from ALL Premier League stadiums for alleged racist abuse.  

This, after he was arrested after he apparently abused Bournemouth attacker Antoine Semenyo in their season-opening match at Anfield.  

Semenyo went on to score twice for Bournemouth, before Liverpool won the game 4-2.

Turkish club Galatasaray have reportedly approached Man City over a possible move for defender Manuel Akanji.  

This, after City boss Pep Guardiola said the club needs to sell more players during the current transfer window, to reduce his bloated squad.
