Real Madrid Cruise Into UCL Last-16

Real Madrid have cruised into the last-16 of the Champions League after a 3-1 win over Man City in the second leg of their playoff this morning.
Kylian Mbappe netted a hattrick for the Spanish giants, who advance 6-3 on aggregate.
City – who were far from their best - had started the game with the injured Erling Haaland on the bench, while they also lost John Stones early in the first half due to a suspected knee problem.
In other results…PSG thrashed Brest 7-0 this morning and 10-nil on aggregate.
Borussia Dortmund are through 3-0 on aggregate after a goalless draw with Sporting Lisbon.
While PSV Eindhoven defeated Juventus 3-1 this morning and 4-3 on aggregate.

Liverpool have extended their lead at the top of the EPL standings, after coming from behind to salvage a 2-2 draw with Aston Villa.
The Reds are now eight points clear of second-placed Arsenal although the Gunners have a game in hand.
Arsenal will have the chance to close the gap when they face West Ham this weekend, before Liverpool’s huge game against Man City on Monday morning.
