Liverpool are on the verge of a top four EPL finish

Liverpool have moved up to fourth in the EPL standings after a 3-0 win over Burnley this morning.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain ensured all three points for the Reds with a late effort, to add on to earlier strikes by Roberto Firminho and Nathaniel Philips.
The win leaves Liverpool ahead of fifth-placed Leicester on goal difference, heading into the final day of the season.

Elsewhere, Tottenham’s hopes of European football next season were dented, after they fell to a 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa that leaves them seventh in the EPL table.
Meanwhile, West Ham are in the running for the final Europa League place, with their 3-1 win over West Brom leaving the Hammers in sixth.
In other results, Everton defeated Wolves 1-0
While Arsenal overcame Crystal Palace 3-1.

Juventus have won the Coppa Italia for the 14th time in their history, after a 2-1 win over Atalanta.
It also means Cristiano Ronaldo has now won every major domestic competition he’s played in for Juve, Real Madrid and Man United.

World Cup winning German midfielder Sami Khedira has announced that he is retiring from football at the end of the season.
The 34-year-old won 16 major trophies over his career…with the likes of Real Madrid and Juventus.

Bayern Munich striker Thomas Mueller and Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels have been recalled to the Germany squad for Euro 2020.
Both have not played for their country in nearly two years…after being dropped in favour of younger players.
