Malaysia has taken two runners-up spots at the Japan Badminton Open.

Pearly Tan and M.Thinaah had to settle for second place in the women’s doubles after a straight-sets loss to their opponents from China.

Thinaah admits they suffered from a lack of confidence, which is something they need to overcome for their next tournament.

Meanwhile, Goh Sze Fei and Nur Izzuddin also went down in straight sets to their South Korean opponents in the men’s doubles final.
