Ronald Koeman has been sacked as Barcelona manager after just 14 months in charge.

It follows their shock 1-0 defeat to Rayo Vallecano, which left the Catalan side ninth in La Liga.

Barca have picked up just 15 points from 10 league games this season, and have already lost twice in the group stage of the Champions League.

Several reports say former Barca midfielder Xavi is the favourite to replace Koeman.
