Oct 15, 2019
Cristiano Ronaldo has now joined the great Pele, Romario, Gerd Muller and Ferenc Puskas on the list of players to have scored 700 or more career goals.
He hit the 700-mark in Portugal's surprise 2-1 defeat to Ukraine in their Euro 2020 qualifier.
His nemesis Lionel Messi has scored only 672 goals for club and country.
Ronaldo's tally for Portugal alone now stands at 95, leaving him second on the international all-time top scorer's list behind Iran's Ali Daei with 109 goals.
