José Mourinho sacked as Man Utd manager

Manchester United have sacked boss José Mourinho, just days after their 3-1 Premier League defeat to Liverpool.

It was the latest disappointing result for The Red Devils this season, amid a slump that has seen them slip to sixth place in the table, 19 points behind leaders Liverpool.

Manchester United has announced that Jose Mourinho has left the Club.

United have confirmed that an interim manager will be appointed soon.

Mourinho won three trophies during his stint at Old Trafford - a League Cup, a Europa League and a Community Shield.

All three were won during his first season in charge.

Meanwhile, Juventus are reportedly willing to pay up to 125 million pounds to sign United's Paul Pogba.

The midfielder's future was believed to be in doubt, after falling out with Mourinho. 

However, reports say that could change, now that Mourinho is no longer there.
