Lewis Hamilton has admitted he 'made a mistake' after his slow start handed his Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg the victory at the Japanese F1 GP.
Hamilton alleges he suffered from some 'wheel-spin', but will wait for engineers to confirm what actually happened.
The Mercedes driver, who started second from the grid, ended up 8th at the end of the first lap, but managed to fight his way back to claim third position.
