Liverpool to play Champions League clash with Midtjylland in Denmark

Liverpool’s final Champions League group stage match against Midtjylland on December 9 will take place in Denmark as planned.

This is after the UK government had decided to ease Covid-19 restrictions and agreed to provide elite athletes with an exemption.

Initially, Borussia Dortmund said they would host the fixture because of the UK government’s requirement for those returning from Denmark to quarantine for 14 days.

Tottenham will be opening its stadium to 2,000 for the first time since March for the north London derby against Arsenal on December 6.

This follows the Government’s confirmation that London has been placed in Tier 2 of the new localised COVID-19 restriction measures.

Juventus are interested in signing Man United midfielder Donny van de Beek following his impressive display in Tuesday's 4-1 group stage victory over Istanbul Basaksehir.

Sources say Juve are already considering reuniting him with Dutch international team-mate Matthijs de Ligt, who he played alongside in helping Ajax reach the hampions League semi-finals last year.
