Mikel Arteta prime choice to replace Arsène Wenger

Former Arsenal captain, Mikel Arteta is now the favourite to replace outgoing boss, Arsène Wenger.
According to reports, Arsenal chief, Ivan Gazidis has named Arteta as his ideal candidate for the manager's job and he has received the backing of other shareholders.
Arteta spent five seasons with Arsenal as a player before retiring in 2016.
He is currently an assistant coach at Man City.
Meanwhile, City boss, Pep Guardiola says he will not stand in the way, if Arteta is offered the Arsenal job.
